Welcome to The GenZ Advisor
Helping aspiring and current Gen Z advisors understand the wealth management industry.
The wealth management industry is growing every year, and with demand rising for Gen Z professionals to step into the field, young advisors are needed more than ever. This presents a huge opportunity, but it’s not straightforward.
Unlike investment banking or consulting, there’s no set path to follow. Every firm has its own philosophy on training and advisor development—some focus on planning, others on sales. Some throw you in the deep end, while others provide structured training. It’s confusing.
If you’re anything like me, it can feel daunting. I like having a structured, mapped out path where Step A leads to Step B, then Step C. But wealth management doesn’t always work that way. Sometimes, you start at B, jump to A, and finally land at C.
So, how do you figure out the right path? How do you stack the odds in your favor in an industry where most advisors fail within a few years?
That’s exactly why I created The Gen Z Advisor.
If You’re Just Starting Out, You’re in the Right Place
You’ve probably heard about the high failure rates in wealth management—it’s discouraging. You may have also heard that advisors are just salespeople chasing unrealistic production goals. But like anything else, you can’t generalize.
Exceptional advisors those who have built multimillion dollar practices, work with amazing clients, and make a real impact aren’t just selling. They care deeply about their clients, uphold the highest ethical standards, and do everything in their power to protect their clients' financial well-being.
This isn’t easy. But by learning the strategies of top advisors, you can navigate your own path, manage risks, and increase your chances of success.
Follow My Journey—And Build Yours
Here’s where I come in. I’m not an industry veteran looking back on my career—I’m on the journey right now.
I started in wealth management early in college, got my licenses, and navigated the industry on my own, trying to figure out what paths exist. I networked with advisors, studied their strategies, and began learning what it actually takes to build a successful career.
Now, I’m about to take the next step. After graduation, I’ll be joining a leading wealth management firm. I’m not just here to give advice I’m creating a space where you can follow my journey and learn as I learn.
Whether you're just starting out or already in your first few years as an advisor, The Gen Z Advisor will help you:
Understand the industry landscape
Learn essential certifications
Break down industry research

Why Listen to Me?
Because I’ve been where you are. I know what it’s like to figure out this industry on your own, and I want to make that process easier for you.
If you want the professional version of my background, here it is:
SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 Licensed
Nearly 3 years of experience at a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA)
Post grad, I’ll be joining a leading wealth management firm
That’s great but honestly, credentials alone won’t make you (or me) successful. Success comes from understanding the industry, mastering the right skills, and learning from those who’ve already done it.
That’s exactly what this platform is about.
If You’re Serious About Wealth Management, You’re in the Right Place
I’m here to help you navigate the uncertainty, learn from the right people, and develop the skills that actually matter.
